Camp Holiday Resort

Camp Holiday Resort and Recreation Area is an ideal destination for weekend outings with families or group of friends. It has a huge ground where kids can safely play around and camp-out, a white sand beach, a large outdoor swimming pool, an open veranda, and several casitas. It is also ideal for business events, meetings, conferences, conventions, seminars, and social functions and gatherings such as parties, reunions, and the like. For overnight stay, the Resort has a 2-storey hotel with 22 rooms, and 12 cottages. Each of the guest room and cottage is air-conditioned, complete with amenities for a comfortable and leisurely stay at the Resort. The rooms have cable TVs, desks, hot and cold showers, and Wi-Fi Internet connections. Camping tents are also available for rent. Food is not a problem. Guests may bring-in food or simply place an order from the Resort's restaurant. There are barbecue grills in the area.

The Cottages

There are 12 colored cottages in the Resort complete with air-conditioning units, twin-beds, cable TVs, desks, Wi-Fi Internet connections, clean toilets with hot and cold showers.

The Resort sits on a wide expanse of well-manicured grass, and a lush greenery of foliage amid towering palm trees.

Casitas

There is a row of open Casitas alongside the beach area of the Resort that provide a cool shade from the blistering heat of the sun particularly at noontime to mid afternoon.

Open Cottages

Several of these open cottages made of Nipa and bamboo are clustered in the different portions of the Resort particularly near the Beach area, and are often used by the guests for dining and lounging.

The seaside veranda consists of an organized row of tables and chairs clustered into several groups under roofs made of corrugated sheets with a magnificent view of the sea.

While guests may bring their own food, Camp Holiday has an in-house restaurant that serves delectable grilled dishes, ice cream, and delightful refreshments all at surprisingly affordable prices. For parties, the food may be served buffet-style. There is also a videoke machine for any one's singing pleasure.

Closed Function Area

The Resort's Function Area is a popular venue for business events, meetings, conferences, conventions, seminars, and social functions and gatherings such as parties, reunions, and the like. It is fully air-conditioned and can accommodate 600 persons.

The Tents

The Resort has a spacious area for camping and the tents are available for rent.

How to get to Camp Holiday Resort and Recreation Area

The Resort is located at Barangay Kinawitnon, Babak District of Samal Island in Davao del Norte and is easily accessible via a 10 to 15 minute commercial ferry boat or barge ride from the Ferry Terminal at Km, 11 Sasa, Davao City to the Babak Fery Wharf which is adjacent to the Resort.
