The Old Davao City Hall (formerly the Municipal Building) was constructed in 1926, or ten years before Davao finally became a city. This rare photograph is courtesy of the Davao Tourism Office, Mr. Robert Bula and Digilution.

San Pedro Cathedral is one of the oldest churches in Mindanao. The original structure of the church was built in 1847 in honor of St. Peter, the city's patron saint. It is the ecclesiastical seat of the Archdiocese of Davao. The old altar is preserved at the right wing of the cathedral.

We are currently making a book entitled "Mayor Duterte and the Making of Davao" as a tribute to him and the city. It is intended to be a somewhat photo-history book which is non-commercial and non-profit. The limited copies only will be privately distributed.

In line with this, we'd like to request for your permission to include the above photos and give credit to the owner/s of the said photos.

Kindly get back to us and looking forward to your favorable response. Thank you.
